Mrs. Winifred Helen Martin, age 92 of Marine City, passed away on Friday at her home.

She was born on April 30, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Smith E. And Mina (Zemay) Lowell. Winnie was united in marriage with Donald Martin, Sr. on October 9, 1948 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Roseville. Mr. Martin passed away on August 29, 1994 in Mount Clemens.

Winnie is survived by 5 children, Patricia Blied, Donald (Diane) Martin, Ronald (Bridget) Martin, Michael Martin and Kristine (Rudy) Chernos, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren. Winnie was predeceased by 6 siblings.

Visiting hours are on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funereal Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 10:00 am with the Reverend Mark Reynolds officiating in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hart Cemetery in Chesterfield Township.
