Wesley G. Ballard, age 84 of Harrison Township, passed away Sunday at McLaren Macomb, Mount Clemens.

He was born October 5, 1936 to George and Alga (Campau) Ballard in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On December 26, 1960 Wesley was united in marriage with Loretta LaCroix in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

Mr. Ballard served in the United State Army, and was a 45 year employee of at the L'Anse Creuse Public Schools. He enjoyed playing solitaire, and loved spending time with his dog "Baby".

Surviving is his wife, Loretta; three daughters, Sarah (George) D'Luge, Melissa Ulbrich and Kimberly (Robert) Sanfilippo; grandchildren, Tony (Lisa) Lucido, Heather (Jay) Kaltz, Daniel (Candace) Sanfilippo, Katelynn (Patrick) Hood and Courtney Athman; 5 great grandchildren; his dog, Baby; brother, Donald (Carol) Ballard, and sisters, Alma Chisnell and June (Robert) Hill. Wesley was predeceased by brothers, Robert, Perry and Carl Ballard.
