Virginia E. Rettell, age 98 of New Haven, passed away early Saturday morning at Medilodge of Richmond.

She was born February 13, 1921 to Emil and Elise Krause in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. On July 6, 1940 Virginia was united in marriage with John L. Rettell at St. Louis Catholic Church, Clinton Township.

Mrs. Rettell is survived by her children, Raymond (Cindy) Rettell, Darlene (John) Planck and Jean Ann Rettell; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and siblings, Merle, Bernadine and Carl. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, John L. In 1996; son, Gerald; grandson, Raymond; granddaughters, Regina and Melissa, and brother, Chuck.

Burial services will take place at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, 38425 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
