Thomas Michael Roose, age 72 of Mount Clemens, passed away March 25, 2023 at McLaren Macomb Hospital, Mount Clemens.

He was born May 6, 1950 to Gerard and Kathleen (Wigley) Roose in Detroit, Michigan. On September 16, 1978 Thomas was united in marriage with Sheri L. Weaver, his best friend of 44 years in Utica, Michigan.

Tom retired as a metal model maker from the Chrysler Corporation in 2010. He was a longtime member of Brookside Fellowship Church and enjoyed manic bicycling, drooling over classic cars and all kinds of gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri; children, Laine (Gary) Chmiel, Kathleen Roose and Levi Roose; grandchildren, Austin, Hailey, Blake, Josiah, Jonathan, Serenity and Gideon; siblings, Diane Marich, Charles (Tracie) Roose, Michael (Sharla) Roose and Margaret Perry. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Gerard and Kathleen, and siblings, Judith Stach, Ronald Roose, Loretta Tiseo and James Roose.

Visiting hours are from 3:00 p.m. until the 6:00 p.m. funeral service, for sharing sweet and funny, precious memories of Tom, on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Private burial will be held at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
