Thomas J. "Jerry" Welch, age 79 of Roseville, passed away May 14, 2020 at Detroit Receiving Hospital.

He was born July 8, 1940 to Thomas J. and Mary E. (Brent) Welch in Bardstown, Kentucky. On February 8, 1964 Jerry was united in marriage with the former Marie Massaria at San Francesco Catholic Church, Detroit.

Mr. Welch was born a Son of the Revolution. He served in the United States Army Military Police, and enjoyed boating, airplanes, and studying history.

Surviving are his sons, Mark Welch, Jeff (Mary Jane) Welch, Douglas (Yvonne) Welch, Erik (Eva) Welch; grandchildren, Chelsea, Kyle, Blake, Ariane, Tim, Aeson, Matthew, Christian, Jonathan, Douglas Jr., Sean, Tyler, Erik; great grandchildren, Alexis, Logan, Olivia, Jackson, Rosie, Ada, Oliver, Kaylie, Landyn, Eli, and siblings, Larry, Pat, Dave, Alan and Brenda. Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Marie on August 11, 2012, and brother, Ron.

Visiting hours are from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Roseville.
