Theresa Mary Maiuri, age 76 of Macomb, passed away Sunday evening at Select Specialty Hospital, Mount Clemens.

She was born April 10, 1950 to Irvin and Evelyn (LaFrance) Smith in Detroit, Michigan. On January 27, 1975 Theresa was united in marriage with James Frederick Maiuri in Toledo, Ohio.

Theresa was an avid animal lover, she enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings.

Surviving is her husband,James; children, James Maiuri Jr., Stacey Maiuri and Tina (William Sharrow) Maiuri; grandchildren, Evelyn, Xavier and Makayla, and brother, James Smith. Theresa was predeceased by her grandson, Donovan, and siblings, Wayne, Audrey, Catherine and Douglas.

Visiting hours will be from Noon until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
