Mr. Theodore Witkowski, age 79, from Washington, Michigan passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy.

He was born on August 17, 1940 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the son of the late Theodore and Elsa (Sneisak) Witkowski. He was predeceased by his wife Judy (Piotrowski) Witkowski in 2011 and sister Gloria (Charles) Risley. Ted and Judy were married on October 8, 1960 in St. Louis Catholic Church in Clinton Township. They moved from Farmington Hills to Au Gres Township in 1998.

Survived by their children, Ted (Janice) Witkowski Jr., Marianne (Larry) Smith, and Lisa (Dan) Oprita; four grandchildren, Matthew Witkowski, Leah Witkowski, Douglas (Amy) DeCew, and Sydney Oprita; two great grandchildren, Jayden Sarno Polasek and Elizabeth DeCew. While living in Au Gres Township Ted and Judy enjoyed their pets, fishing and trips to the casino. Ted worked in electrical sales for many years. During the past few years, he was able to meet both of his great grandchildren and spend time with his family. He loved hearing about everyone's jobs, moves, adventures and even daily routines.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Will & Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 NB Gratiot, Mt. Clemens. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Ted's burial will be on Wednesday, September 18 ^th , 2019 at 12:00 noon in Linwood Cemetery in Au Gres Township.
