Theodore Leonard Provencher

Mr. Theodore L. Provencher, age 85 of Chesterfield Township, passed away Thursday evening at Torrey Pines Senior Residence in New Baltimore.

He was born on June 17, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan, a son of the late Harold and Viola (Cappe) Wright. Theodore and his wife Judith (Ronson) were married nearly 50 years.

Theodore worked as a claims adjuster at Detroit Edison, and attended St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens. He served in the United States Army.

Survived by his wife, Judith and their children, Tracy Provencher, Mark (Stacey) Provencher, Kimberly (Thomas) Honnen, Nicole Provencher, and step-son-David (Cori) Dudek, as well as 15 grandchildren. Theodore was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth DeBolt and father, Leonard Provencher.

Visiting hours are on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11:30 am (in state at 11:00 am) at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens with the Reverend Father Christopher Muer officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
