Tammy A. "Yammy" Smith, age 65 of Harrison Township, a lifelong Michigan resident passed away after bravely battling a long illness on February 4, 2024 in her home. Both her dotting, loving husband and her feisty companion cat, Lucy, were by her side.

Tammy was an avid coffee consumer that had a genuine, yet sarcastic personality. She was able to appreciate the simple things in life and enjoyed a thrifty deal. Tammy loved nature, especially being at the beach. In her younger years she was a zealous bowler. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. But what made Tammy happiest was being on the lake in the boat.

Survived by her devoted husband, Joseph "Joe" York; her four self-reliant children, Amy (Jason) Land of TN, Jennifer Salisbury of MI, Neal Salisbury of FL and Lee Ann Casaceli of MI. Her precious grandchildren that she adored, Caleb Casaceli, Piper Brown and Rylei Land. Also survived by her brother, Glen Kirby of MI. Along with other extended family and friends. Yammy was predeceased by her parents, Judith Kirby and Bud Lyons, also her brother David Lyons. She will forever be missed, XOXO.
