Mrs. Susana Vasquez, age 75 of Detroit, passed away Friday morning at her home.

She was born on November 11, 1944 in Acuna, Mexico, a daughter of the late Juan and Juanita (Lopez) Lopez. On March 5, 1961, Susana was united in marriage with Cayetano Vasquez in Ozona, Texas.

Susana loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family.

Susana is survived by her husband, Cayetano, children, Lillian (David) Tijerina, Joe (Betty) Vasquez, Susie (Mario) Rivera, Patricia (Ramon) Hernandez, Sonya (and the late, Luis) Blaz and Soledad Vasquez; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and four brothers and sisters. Susana was predeceased by a brother David.

Visiting hours are on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 and Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens. Michigan.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. (family gathering at 9:00 a.m.) at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens with the Reverend Father Michael N. Cooney officiating.

A Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.

Private cremation will follow the Mass.
