Mr. Stephen J. Simone, age 52 of Mount Clemens, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening. He was born on December 17, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, a son of James and Veronica (Levenski) Simone. On June 24, 2017, Stephen was united in marriage with Terry Stokes.

Stephen worked as a tool & Die maker at Die Tech Tool and Manufacturing in Roseville. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens. Stephen enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking, ice fishing, G. I. Joe collectables, and Snoopy.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Terry, seven children, Amanda Gruzwalski, Jordin Simone, Jaimie Simone, Stephen Simone Jr., Talia Simone, Lynn (Jeffery) White and Sara Landers; his parents, James and Veronica Simone; four grandchildren, Ashton Carpenter, Parker White, Jackson Carpenter and Jenna Strech; siblings, Laura Simone, Christopher (Patricia) Simone and Gail (Miguel) DeLaCruz.

Visiting hours are on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.

Burial will be at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
