Shirley Ann Tava

Mrs. Shirley Ann Tava, age 80 of Macomb Township, passed away Friday morning at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy.

She was born on November 20, 1941 in Ludington, Michigan, a daughter of the late Anthony and Pearl (Rohr) Rogoski. On September 9, 1961, she married the love of her life, Roger Tava in Freesoil, Michigan, and they were blessed with four loving children; Mark (Lisa) Tava, Gina (Pat) Walsh, Lani (Kerry) Gibbs and Troy (Jennifer) Tava and six grandchildren; Chase (Julie) Tava, Connar Tava, Jordan Walsh, Payton Walsh, Brayden Tava, and Jillian Tava. Also surviving are two sisters, Madonna Ruby and Connie (James) Kipp. Shirley was predeceased by sisters Toni Lee Haynor and Dianne Rogoski.

Shirley was the proprietor of a small business. She enjoyed their homes, entertaining their many friends in Florida during the Michigan winters and in May she was in a hurry to get home to Michigan to be with her family.

Shirley loved pickleball, tennis, golf, bowling, gardening and any game of cards. She especially enjoyed Monday game nights with the family. Her greatest joy was spending time with family.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

A Memorial Celebration of her Life will be announced at a later date.
