Shirley C. Meldrum, age 78 of Harrison Township, passed away Friday afternoon at McLaren Macomb Hospital, Mount Clemens.

She was born January 2, 1940 to Estel and Ora (Dalton) Miller in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On December 12, 1959 Shirley was married to Sanford Meldrum at the Miller family home.

Mrs. Meldrum and her husband were the owners of Harrison Disposal. Shirley enjoyed reading and antique shopping.

She is survived by her husband, Sanford; children, Michelle (Don) Browning, Robin (Tom) Hauff, Shannon Meldrum, Todd (Tina) Meldrum; grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan (Kaley), Allyson (Jon), Emily (James), Sadie (Jeremy), Zachary (Courtney), Kelly (Chris); great grandchildren, Tatum, Caleb, Macie, Aurora, Keegan, Everette, Harlyn, Leighton and Colby. Shirley was predeceased by her sisters, Lois Broderick and Shelby Allemon.

Visiting hours are 3:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 NB Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Private funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home. Private burial will follow at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
