Shirley T. Huyge, age 65 of Marine City, passed away early Monday morning at her home. She was born August 4, 1952 to Robert and Lorraine (Meldrum) Malear in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Shirley was an entrepreneur with her most recent endeavor in dog grooming. She loved her dogs and enjoyed various crafts. Surviving is her daughter, Andrea Weiss; granddaughter, Kylie Weiss; beloved partner, John Carrier, and siblings, James Malear, Robert (Debra) Malear, Nancy (William) Bell II, Glenn (Bobbie) Malear, and Laura (Mark) Bethuy, and loved by many nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Lorraine, and nephew, Jason.

Visiting hours are 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service time of 12:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens. Pastor Douglas Malear will officiate the service.
