Sanford N. Meldrum, age 82 of Harrison Township, died peacefully at home on Sunday, surrounded by family.

He was born January 31, 1938 to the late Norman and Marguerite (Wedyke) Meldrum in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. On December 12, 1959 Sanford was married to Shirley Miller at the Miller family home. Mrs. Meldrum passed away on December 21, 2018.

Mr. Meldrum and his wife Shirley were the owners of Harrison Disposal.

Sanford is survived by his children, Michelle (Don) Browning, Robin (Tom) Hauff, Shannon Meldrum, Todd (Tina) Meldrum; grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan (Kaley), Allyson (Jon), Emily, Sadie (Jeremy), Zachary, Kelly (Chris); great grandchildren, Tatum, Caleb, Macie, Aurora, Keegan, Everette, Wade, Harlyn, Leighton and Colby; and his brother Donald (Donna) Meldrum.

The visiting hours are from 3:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 NB Gratiot, Mount Clemens. Private burial will take place at Clinton Grove Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions: 20 visitors are allowed in the building at one time, face masks must be worn entire time (mouth and nose has to be covered). Food and drinks not permitted. Please limit your time of viewing to allow another guest to visit.
