Ruth A. Meldrum's Obituary
Ruth A. Meldrum, age 88 of Macomb, passed away Saturday at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township.
She was born November 11, 1928 to Charles and Appolonia (Faulmann) Redlawsk in Mount Clemens. On May 29, 1948 Ruth married Marcellus R. Meldrum Jr. at St. Louis Catholic Church, Mount Clemens.
Mrs. Meldrum was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, New Baltimore, and enjoyed gardening, painting, crafts, listening to country and polka music.
Surviving are her children, Lori Meldrum Jenkins, Ted (Judy) Melrum, Roger (Kim) Meldrum; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and siblings, Ileen Haberski, Melvin Redlawsk and Geraldine Krantz. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Marcellus, and several siblings.
Visiting hours are 3 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 NB Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
Funeral mass 10:30 a.m. (in state 10:00) Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 50931 Maria Street, New Baltimore. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
