Rosemary Mazzara, age 90 of Clinton Township, passed away Tuesday afternoon at her home.

She was born June 8, 1935 to Marshall and Genevieve (Garbarino) Schmitt in Detroit, Michigan. On July 17, 1954 Rosemary was united in marriage with Peter Mazzara.

Mrs. Mazzara was a former member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens. She enjoyed gardening, shopping with her daughters, and especially loved her dogs.

Surviving are her children, Sherry (Jim) Streit, Sandra Hennel, Peter (Patti) Mazzara, Susan (Bud) Wolka, Paul (Kris) Mazzara and Ruth (Shane) Isenhoff; grandchildren, James, Stephen, David, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Paul, Peter, Joseph, Michelle, Genevieve, Isabella, Luke, Laura, and great grandchildren, Evelyn, Charlie and Kathleen. Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Peter in 2010; daughter, Laura Mazzara, and brother, Marshall Schmitt.

Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township under the direction of Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, Mount Clemens.
