Ronald Francis Metter

Mr. Ronald F. Metter, age 86 of Madison Heights, passed away on Wednesday afternoon at Beaumont Hospital in Troy.

He was born on March 12, 1937 in Utica, Michigan, a son of the late Francis and Marion (DeFer) Metter.

Ronald earned a Bachelor of Science degree at St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana, and had been a teacher in the Detroit Public Schools and at St. Clements School in Center Line. Later teaching computer science at Ross Medical School. He was an antique collector of American Art Pottery for 36 years.

Ronald is survived by his Life Long Partner, Bearl Moses; 4 siblings, Kenneth (Janice) Metter, Jean (Howard) Abbott, Joyce Voelker and Francis (Susan) Metter. Ronald was predeceased by 2 siblings, David and Dean Metter.

Visiting hours are on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 2:00 pm until the time of Eulogy Service at 6:00 pm in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funereal Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens, Michigan.
