Roland Robert Ehnis, age 77 of Clinton Township passed away Thursday morning at his home.
He was born January 15, 1939 to Roland R. and Marguerite H. (Gendron) Ehnis in Detroit, Michigan. On July 16, 1960 Roland married Patricia Hibbert in Mount Clemens.
Mr. Ehnis served in the United States Army, and retired after 30 years of employment as a metal model body builder at the Chrysler Corporation. He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Roland is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Jackie Ehnis, Jeff (D'Anna) Ehnis, Renee (Jim) Garvin and Mike Ehnis; grandchildren, Brent, Ryan, Derek, Holly, Shannon, Ian and Lauren; great grandchildren, Anderson and Anara, and siblings, Margie Purkey, DeeDee Mazur, Debbie Garrigan and Bob Ehnis. Mr. Ehnis was predeceased by his sibilings, Ken Ehnis, Vicki Harris and Mike Ehnis.
Visiting hours are 2 - 9 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. eulogy service at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens, Saturday, August 13, 2016. Cremation and Inurnment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
