Robert Lyle Shy III, age 73 of Harrison Township, passed away late Sunday evening at St. John Hospital, Detroit.

He was born October 2, 1949 to America (Garcia) and Robert Shy Jr. in Huntington, West Virginia. On December 4, 1971 Robert was united in marriage with Margaret I. Hart at St. Louis Catholic Church, Clinton Township.

Mr. Shy was employed as a die repairman. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, and especially loved spending time with his sons and grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret; sons, Randy (Chris Esposito) Shy and Patrick (MaryKay) Shy; grandchildren, Carl, Danielle and Drew; great grandchildren, Aleera and Bryson; sisters, Sandra Sours and Frankie Shy and brother, Lloyd Aboussouan. Robert was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Shy.

Visiting hours are 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
