Mr. Robert J. Peltier, age 78, a life long resident of Mount Clemens, passed away on Wednesday at Lake Pointe Senior & Rehab Center in Clinton Township.

He was born on June 4, 1941 in Mount Clemens, a son of the late Bernard and Gladys (Ware) Peltier. On April 11, 1965, Bob was united in marriage with Caroline Marie Lanham in Felicity, Ohio. They have lived at their present address for the past 46 years.

Bob served proudly in the United States Army in South Korea. He retired in 2008 from the Metaldyne Company in Troy.

Bob and Caroline enjoyed their place near Port Austin, hunting, fishing, sports and gardening. He loved his dog, named River.

Robert is survived by his wife, Caroline of 54 years; 19 nieces and nephews, 29 grand nieces and nephews and 2 great grand nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. (visiting will start at 11:00 a.m.), Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
