Robert G. Dusette, age 91 of Harrison Township, passed away Tuesday afternoon at his daughter's home.

He was born July 18, 1925 to Ralph and Esther (Steffen) Dusette in Detroit, Michigan. On August 30, 1947 Robert married Eleanor Peltier at the First United Methodist Church, Mount Clemens.

Mr. Dusette served in the United States Coast Guard Merchant Marines, and was employed for 35 years at the Chrysler Tank Arsenal, Warren. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

Surviving are his children, Stephen Dusette, Claudia (Jim) Harder and Nancy (Sonny) Cason; 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and his sister, Charlotte Langston. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor on August 2, 2012; his daughter, Constance Daugherty, and brothers, Marvin, Norman, Edgar, Everett, Gerald and Francis.

Visiting hours are 2 - 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Tony Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Centennial Cemetery, New Haven.
