Robert Duane DeCew, age 90 of Harrison Township, passed away Thursday evening at McLaren Macomb, Mount Clemens.

He was born January 23, 1936 to Chauncey and Mary (Gazrek) DeCew in Highland Park, Michigan. On April 16, 1960 Robert was united in marriage with Gretchen Bjork.

Robert served in the United States Navy, and was employed as general manager for the Detroit Windsor Tunnel. He enjoyed golfing and spending time will family and friends, he especially loved being with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his sons, Gregg (DD) DeCew and Michael (Karen) DeCew; grandchildren, Douglas, David, Laura and Jaclyn, and eleven great grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Gretchen; daughters, Terri and Nancy DeCew, and brother, Edward DeCew.

Visiting hours will be from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Mr. DeCew will be buried privately at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
