Robert R. Catana, age 78 of Roseville, passed away Monday evening at his home.

He was born August 10, 1942 to Ralph and Jennie (Kaczmar) Catana in Detroit, Michigan. On August 3, 2012 Robert was married to Kimberly Ann (Campbell) Catana.

Bob ran Catana Roofing in Mount Clemens for over 40 years. He was a member of Huron Pointe Yacht Club, enjoyed fishing, golfing, watching old Western movies and shows, and playing Keno daily with his buddies at the Blue Goose. Bob especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Some of his fondest memories were spent at his "corn roast parties" on Sni Bora Island. His slogan was "more beer."

Surviving is his wife, Kim "Campbell"; children, Ralph Catana, Daniel Catana, Robert (Danette) Catana and Kelly (Todd) Apsey; grandchildren, Nathan, Melanie, Max and Nolan Apsey, and Katelyn and Avrie Catana; his brothers, Jerry (Evamarie) Catana and James (Deborah) Catana. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Jennie.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. (visiting to begin at 11:00), Friday, July 16, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens with Father Christopher Muer officiating.
