Robert Murray Anable, age 85 of Mount Clemens, passed away early Wednesday morning at his home. He was born January 21, 1932 to John and Helen (Murray) Anable in Ogdensburg, New York. Beloved husband to Jeanne (nee Gragido) for 61 years. Dearest father of Robert (Darlene), Christopher (Mary), Kathlyn (Rick). Proud papa to Jesse and Beth. Robert served in the United States Air Force, retiring after 22 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran, and continued working for the United States Government as a civil servant at Selfridge ANG Base. Robert was kind, generous, helpful to anyone, and a great man, husband and father. A funeral mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. (in state 8:30 a.m.), Saturday, July 15, 2017 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens.
