Robert E. Akers, age 54 of Clinton Township, passed away early Thursday morning at McLaren Macomb, Mount Clemens.

He was born March 10, 1966 to Robert and Virginia (Roddel) Akers in Sacramento, California. On May 21, 1994 Robert was married to the former Isabell M. McKelvey.

Mr. Akers was a self employed installer in the floor covering industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, grilling, spending time with his family and friends, and especially loved being with his granddaughter, Delilah.

Surviving is his wife, Isabell; children, Chad Rundles, Jennifer Akers and granddaughter, Delilah Akers. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Virginia.

Cremation was private under the direction of Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, Mount Clemens.
