Richard M. Wilson, age 79 of Macomb, passed away Monday evening at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township.

He was born September 18, 1943 to Joseph and Henrietta (Schindler) Wilson in Detroit, Michigan.

Mr. Wilson served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. He retired as a supervisor after 38 years of employment at Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors, dune buggy riding, and spending time at his cottage up north. Richard loved his dogs, Duke and Susie.

Surviving is his step grandson, Freddie; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Joseph (Diane) Wilson, Warren Wilson, Sylvia Stierle, Terry Resmer and Donna (Gerry) Frangie, and many nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his wife, Carol of 57 years, on July 26, 2022; step son, Blair Pollard, and siblings, James Wilson and Patricia Curtis.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2022 at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, (corner of Clinton River Road and Garfield) Clinton Township, under the direction of Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, Mount Clemens.
