Richard Wawszkiewicz, age 68 of Chesterfield, passed away Tuesday morning at his home. He was born February 20, 1949 to Edward and Bernice Wawszkiewicz in Michigan.

Mr. Wawszkiewicz enjoyed boating, being in the company of friends, was "happy go lucky," and was the life of the party. He was a proud designer of his own home, and loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. Richard was a member of the Mariners Boat Club, Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and Order of the Yellow Dogs.

Surviving are his daughters, Kassia (Brandon) Buzanowski, Ashley (Kulin) Froelich, Monica Wawszkiewicz, Grandchildren; Roman Buzanowski, Gavyn Buzanowski, Maximilian Froelich and Frankie Jo Froelich, and the mother of his children Patricia Wawszkiewics.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Bernice and Edward.

Visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service time of 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2017 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
