Richard Petitpren, age 35 of Clinton Township, passed away Saturday at his home. He was born August 11, 1981 to Richard G. and Colleen E. (Schroll) Petitpren in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Richard enjoyed rollerblading, riding motorcycles, working on cars, hunting, fishing, and especially loved spending time with his son, sisters and niece. He was baptized at St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens, and also attended church there.

He is survived by his son, Skyler; mother, Colleen Steele; father, Richard G. Petitpren; step father, Kerry Steele; sisters, Nichole Maisano, Justina Maisano; grandmother, Shirley Petitpren; niece and goddaughter, Elizabeth Maisano. Mr. Petitpren was predeceased by his grandparents, Richard Petitpren, Melvin Schroll and Mary "Chris" Schroll.

Visiting hours are 3 - 9 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday at the funeral home with Father Michael N. Cooney officiating. Committal service will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
