Richard Kaminski, 87 of Harrison Township Michigan passed away Sunday October 31 ^st , 2021. Dearly loved son, husband, father, and friend.  Richard was born in Detroit Michigan and raised in the area during his early years. Richard Kaminski met his wife Suzanne in high school and remained deeply in love with her the rest of his life.

While growing up in Detroit, Rich loved sports and was a very skilled athlete in multiple areas- -especially baseball.  He enlisted in the Airforce and proudly served his country. Rich married Suzanne, and started a family, then moved to Harrison township and finished a pharmaceutical degree from Wayne State University.  He enjoyed working for Lafer Drugs and spent time volunteering as an apothecary at Greenfield Village.  Later, Richard transferred to help run a family business at Midwest foods and eventually retired from the larger food company Caramagno.

Richard maintained an excellent intellect, and great tactile skill.  He was able to offer wise counsel, own and operate large twin-engine cruisers, and enjoy sitting in nature while waiting for a large to deer to come into view- -even though sometimes his aim was not too good.  Everything that he did, however, was enjoyed with his wife, and most often with his family and friends.

Rich is preceded in death by his mother and father Nellie and Michael, wife Suzanne, dearly loved son Richard Kaminski, and daughter Marie Kaminski, and grandson Matthew Kaminski.  He is survived by his brother Michael, daughter Kathryn  (Kaminski) Ballard, along with husband Dan Ballard  and their children,- -his grandchildren, Chad and Trish Ballard- -Great grandchildren Lila and  Oliver, Alex Ballard, Sean Ballard, Dana Ballard, Jack Ballard, and Lucy Ballard, his Son Randy Kaminski and his wife Sandy Kaminski and their children, his grandchildren, Joshua Kaminski, Benjamin and Laura Kaminski-Great grandson Noah, Andrew Kaminski, Jacob and Carlye Kaminski, and Elijah Kaminski.

A memorial service will be held this coming Saturday, November 6, ^, 2021 at 1:00 PM at The Shores Church, 24905 Manhattan St. St Clair Shores MI.
