Mr. Richard George Dickinson, 75, of Mount Clemens passed away on Wednesday at his home.

Richard was born on December 9, 1941 to the late Ivan and Ruth (Berry) Dickinson. On February 24, 1962 in Mount Clemens, Richard was united in marriage to Joan Reiter. Richard worked as a linesman at Consumer Energy.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending sporting events for his grandchildren, and loved traveling up north to his cottage in Oscoda.

Mr. Dickinson is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan; children John Dickinson, Michele (Christopher) Gardner, and Todd (Julie) Dickinson; grandchildren Kara Gardner, Aaron Gardner, Hunter Dickinson, and Daniel Dickinson; and a sister Gemarice Fisher.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Will & Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens, MI 48043. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
