Mr. Richard A. Donovan, age 64 of Mount Clemens, passed away Wednesday evening under hospice care at home.

He was born on March 24, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan, a son of the late Alvin and Shirley (Couse) Donovan. On November 3, 1989, Richard was united in marriage with Linda L. "Smitty" Smith in Roseville, Michigan. Linda passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020.

He worked as a computer specialist. Richard enjoyed fishing, camping and hiking, and most of all being with his family.

Surviving are three children, Crystal Brass, Nicole Donovan and Connor Donovan; grandchildren, Robert Brass Jr., Eric Arnold, Kaylee Brass, Rosalyn Williams, Delano Williams, Nevaeh Williams, Madison Brass, Allison Brass; siblings, Michael (Deborah), Ellen (Steven) Klau, Kenneth (Linda), David (Carolyn), Paul (Denise) and Laurie (Roger) Edwards; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours start at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens until the time of funeral service act 12:30 a.m. with Pastor John O'Neal officiating. Private cremation will follow the service.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions: 10 visitors at a time, face masks must be worn entire time (mouth and nose has to be covered). Food and drinks not permitted. Please limit your time to 10 minutes of viewing to allow another guest to visit.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
