Mrs. Rebecca Barton, age 64, of Chesterfield Township, passed away on Friday morning at McLaren-Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens.

She was born on March 16, 1955 in Livonia, Michigan, a daughter of late Thomas Everett and Waunita Ellen (Moore) Silvernail. On November 8, 1975, Rebecca was united in marriage with David Michael Barton. Mr. Barton passed away on Friday afternoon, May 11, 2012 in Chesterfield Township.

Rebecca was an avid Detroit Tiger Baseball fan. She enjoyed her grandchildren, family and friends, and especially loved shopping.

Rebecca is survived by two children, Christopher (Lisa) Barton and Sarah (Bill) Leahy; ten grandchildren, Jordan, Alivia, Trinity, Joseph, Anthony, Ephraim, Marcus, Teressa Leahy, Thomas Leahy and David Mavros; her brother, Brian Silvernail; and her best friend Ron Asher

A Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens with the Reverend Ron Vader officiating.
