Ralph Donald Klockow

1927 - 2019

Mr. Ralph D. Klockow, age 91 of Chesterfield Township, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 in The Village of East Harbor Skilled Living in Chesterfield Township.

He was born on July 27, 1927 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the son of the late Robert and Bertha (Gehring) Klockow. On April 22, 1960, Ralph was united in marriage with Evelyn Plegue in Zion United Church of Christ in Mount Clemens.

Ralph was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and the Merry Mates Club, and the Usher Club and the Rotary at church. Ralph enjoyed hunting and playing golf after his retirement from AT&T.

Mr. Klockow is survived by his wife Evelyn, two daughters Amy (Keith) Gillette and Lisa (Jerry) Wells, three step-children, Mike (Cathy) Raspet, John (Kathy) Raspet and Richard (Sheila) Raspet; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two sisters, Evelyn Wright and Carol Bone.

Visiting hours are on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. (in state 10:00 a.m.) in Zion United Church of Christ, 68 New Street, Mount Clemens with Pastor Scott Davis officiating. Private family burial will follow at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
