Paula Natalie Farago, age 81 of Macomb, passed away Tuesday morning at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township.

She was born August 24, 1943 to John and Helen Orloff in Michigan. On February 8, 1964 Paula was united in marriage with Louis V. Farago at St. Thecla Catholic Church, Clinton Township.

Paula, nicknamed by her grandchildren "Gooma", was loved for her caring and selfless nature. She was admired for her brilliant mind and wisdom. She lived life simply, close to family and friends, and she always made room for more. Everyone who met her was drawn to her kindhearted personality. She lived an abundant life of knowledge and travel. She enjoyed learning from the anatomy of the smallest insects to the large history of the cultures she traveled to.

Surviving is her husband, Louis; daughter, Angela Farago; grandchildren, Lauren DeVos and Brandon Farago, and sister, Mary Downing. Paula was predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Orloff, and sister, Suzie.

Visiting hours will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
