Paul Matchett Sr., age 60, of Mount Clemens passed away Sunday at McLaren Macomb in Mount Clemens. Michigan.

He was born on August 10, 1957 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Charles and Nola (Lowe) Matchett. On February 9, 1979 he was united in marriage with Deborah Ann Shepherd (Emerick) in Mount Clemens. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

Paul is survived by his wife 38 years, Deborah; son Benjamin; step-daughter Tammy (Scott) Miller); mother Nola Matchett; brothers Charles (Cindy) Matchett Jr. and Jeff (Cheryl) Matchett; and nieces Devonda Matchett, Angela Matchett, and Theresa (Thomas) Matchett-Warenzak. Paul was predeceased by his father Charles Matchett and son Paul Matchett Jr.

A memorial service be held April 8, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Paul's home.
