Patrick Charles Reid, age 79 of Harrison Township, passed away Sunday afternoon at his home.

He was born April 16, 1945 to James and  Margaret (Gallacher) Reid in Washington D.C. On March 20, 1993 Patrick was united in marriage with the former Pamela F. Crook in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

Patrick was a journeyman pressman for various newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal, Washington Star and Detroit Free Press until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed model trains, boating, fishing, and especially loved spending winters in Florida.

Surviving is his wife, Pamela; son, John Patrick Reid; daughter, Ruth Ann Kavanagh; grandchildren, Shanna Carroll and Connor Kavanagh; great grandchild, Allistair Carroll; brothers, James Reid and Joseph Reid, and sisters, Mary Greengard and Jackie Fish. Patrick was predeceased by his parents.
