Oscar "Ozzie" E. Prima, age 87 of Mount Clemens, passed away Sunday at McLaren Macomb Hospital.
Ozzie served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, and was employed as a testing technician at MI Bell Telephone Company.
Surviving is his wife, Beverly; children, Pamela S. (Raymond) Vujnov, Brenda K. (Thomas) McCormack and Christopher A. Prima; grandchildren, Gregory Renno, Benjamin Berr, Jason McCormack, Brandy McCormack and Christian Prima, and great grandchildren, Melanie, Cole, Drew, Mya and Sadie. Ozzie was predeceased by his first wife, Gladys (Kerner); daughter, Susan K. Prima; daughter in law Cathy Prima and sister, Hope Bates.
Visiting hours are 2 - 9 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2016 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 NB Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
Funeral 11:00 a.m. (in state 10:00) Saturday at Zion United Church of Christ, 68 New Street, Mount Clemens with Reverend Scott Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Grove Memorial Park, Clinton Township.
