Opal M. Flynn, age 95 of Clinton Township, passed away Friday morning at Mary Center for Seniors, Clinton Township.

She was born April 20, 1924 to Thomas and Parilee (Thompson) Whitmon in Muncie, Indiana. Opal was united in marriage with Charles W. Flynn.

Mrs. Flynn was a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Clemens, where she served as secretary for 25 plus years. Opal also sang in the church choir. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing.

Surviving are her sons, Kenneth (Barbara) Flynn, Keith Flynn; grandchildren, Dawn, Cheryl, Sean, Amy; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Jarred, Ashley, Ryan, Grace, Niko; great great grandchildren, Sofia and Scarlett. Opal was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 1993; daughter, Kathleen Callaway, and several siblings.

Private committal services will be held at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills.
