Norine Joan Rose Moss, age 73 of Mount Clemens, passed away Thursday afternoon at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit.
She was born April 19, 1943 to Raymond and Ruby (Gauthier) Dimmer in Detroit, Michigan. On December 1, 1967 Norine was married to Wayne Moss in Mount Clemens, Michigan.
Mrs. Moss was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens, and was employed as a teacher's aide for 22 years at Plumbrook Elementary School, Utica, for 5 years at Washington Elementary School, Mount Clemens, and substituted for the Macomb Intermediate School District. Norine enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, camping, and shopping. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Surviving is her husband, Wayne; children, Kristie Chadwick, Michele (Matthew) Casebolt, David Moss, Michael (Tammy) Moss; grandchildren, Jesica, Dane, Alyssa, Abigaile, Aunna, Cole, Alex, Matthew, Melanie, and siblings, Donald (Frances) Dimmer and Mary Solomon. Norine was predeceased by brothers, Raymond, Gerald and Robert Dimmer.
Visiting hours are 2 - 9 p.m. (7:00 p.m. prayer service), Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
Funeral mass 11:30 a.m. (in state 11:00) Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens with Father Michael N. Cooney officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Grove Memorial Park, Clinton Township.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may me made to St. Jude's.
