Nancy Lou Murray, age 89 of Harrison Township, passed away late Sunday evening at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit.

She was born March 24, 1936 to William and Ada Mae (Vaughn) MacDonald in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. On June 25, 1955 Nancy was married to James S. Murray in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Nancy was employed as a para pro in special education for the L'Anse Creuse Schools, and later became a real estate agent, working at the Frank Burnabei Real Estate Agency and Century 21. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, traveling, and especially loved having family get togethers.

Surviving is her husband, James; sons, Butch (Heather) Murray, Tom (Dawn) Murray and Dan (Stacy) Murray; grandchildren, Shannon, Rebecca, Emily, Evan, Halle and Briana, and great grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey and Harper. Nancy was predeceased by her siblings, Bill MacDonald and Betty Pfent.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
