Michael E. Hoover, age 69 of Harrison Township, passed away Monday morning at his home.
He was born March 28, 1948 to Eugene and Alline (Majors) Hoover in Detroit, Michigan. On April 29, 1972 Michael was united in marriage with Connie Hishon at Zion United Church of Christ, Mount Clemens.
Mr. Hoover was employed at and later owned the Better Made Distributorship in Detroit for 38 years. He was a member and Sunday School teacher at Knox Presbyterian Church, and a member of Drifters Boat Club. Michael enjoyed golfing, basketball, coaching baseball, yard work, and tinkering with car, boat and lawn mower engines.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; sons, Jason (Melissa) Hoover, Mark (Lindsey) Hoover, Ryan Hoover; grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Luke, Max, Josephine; his mother, Alline Hoover, and brother, Roger (Hank) Hoover. Michael was predeceased by his father, Eugene.
