Mr. Michael Scott Holstine, age 54, of East China Township, passed away on Wednesday at his home.

Michael was born on December 10, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Clyde and Lillian (Trythall) Holstine. He was united in marriage with Melissa Holstine on December 27, 1997 in Algonac, Michigan. Michael loved to be around his friends and family. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Clair, The New Baltimore Lions Club, and especially enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Mr. Holstine is survived by his partner and best friend Melissa; children Kimberly, Jonathan (Anne Ryle), Emily (Robert Baker), and Paige; three grandchildren Charlotte White, Sophia White, and Alyssa Holstine; sister Lillian (Timothy) Gall; nephew Jeffrey (Kim) Gall; and great nephew Jacob Gall.

Michael was predeceased by his sister Shirley Andary.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens, Michigan 48043.

The funeral service for Mr. Holstine will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Allen Schwieger officiating.
