Michael Edward Boomer, age 64 of Harrison Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023.

He was born on September 28th, 1959 to Carl and Louise (Hyvonen) Boomer in Detroit, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Carl and sister, Geraldine. He is survived by his wife, Maryann Boomer; his children Andrew (Erin) Boomer, Stephanie (Joseph) Del Greco, and Jennifer Boomer; Grandchildren, Joseph Michael & Stella Cristina Del Greco, and Peyton Marie Boomer. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Michael was a Professional Drywaller before becoming an over the road Truck Driver with A.D. Transport Inc. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, being on the lake, shooting pool, playing cards, having bonfires and spending time with his grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be from 3:00pm-8pm, Sunday, November 26th, 2023 at Will & Schwarzkoff Funeral Home. (233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens, MI).

Funeral services will be held at 9:30am (gathering starting at 9am) Monday at St. Blase Parish, 12151 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312.

Burial will be for immediate family only at a later date.
