Michael W. Berger, Sr., age 73 of Chesterfield Township, passed early Wednesday morning at McLaren Macomb, Mount Clemens.

He was born October 14, 1942 to Otto and Mercedes (Marcelain) Berger in Detroit, Michigan. On June 2, 1972 Michael married Eileen Robinson. Mr. Berger was employed as an electrician in the automotive industry. He was a life member of Masonic Temple #499 and was a Shriner. Michael performed in many variety shows, and went camping with a group of performers that called themselves the "Show on the Go." He was a very intelligent man, and was a talented craftsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and antique cars.

Surviving are four children, Michael (Mary) Berger Jr., Debra (Mike) Golec, Michael Shirilla and Michelle (Dean) Finateri; grandchildren, Melissa, Amanda, Derek, Alicia, Jacob and Cora, and six great grandchildren. Michael was predeceased by his wife, Eileen, and grandson, James. Arrangements were privately held by the family.
