Mr. Michael Nicholas Barbier III, age 72, of Warren passed away on Saturday at his home.

Michael was born on May 7, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Michael Nicholas Barbier II and Dolores (DeCorte) Barbier. He married Mildred DeHate on February 6, 1981 in Warren, Michigan. Michael worked for 28 years at EMI and enjoyed playing the lottery, horse racing, and loved his two dogs Roxie and Josie.

Mr. Barbier is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mildred; children Michael Barbier, Debra (David) McCurdy, Cindy Barbier, Maria (Lawrence) Murdock, Darryl (Thelma) Barbier, Shelly Barbier, and Eugene LaFave; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and siblings Sandra (Wally) Lutz, Nicholas (Nancy) Barbier, Margaret Barbier, Jill (Michael) Cadieux, and Kenneth (Dawn) Barbier. He was predeceased by his daughter Evelyn Hayes; and brothers Richard and David Barbier.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens, Michigan 48043. A family eulogy will be held at 7:00 P.M.

The funeral service will take place at 10:00 A.M. at West Berlin Cemetery, in Berlin Township, Michigan on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
