Obituary

Maxine Rose Miller

October 15, 2020

Maxine Rose Miller, age 84 of Mount Clemens, passed away on Thursday evening at her home after suffering a short bout with cancer.

She was born on March 31, 1936 in Sawyerville, Illinois, a daughter of the late John and Julia (Chiolero) Pianfetti, being the eldest of three.

Maxine shared 30+ years with her husband Robert Miller, together raising 6 children. She was a dedicated mother first, she was proud and treasured her children, embracing the moments they shared. She adored being a grandmother and a great grandmother.

She had different jobs thru the years - enjoyed bowling, bingo and Euchre at one time. Her proudest accomplishment was receiving her GED later in life and earning her high school diploma. Her final and last job at Fast Eddies-there so long she was like a fixture and earned the nickname "Ma Ma Max" for she was always there for you. Her personality was vivacious - always made people around her laugh, made friends everywhere, and was known for never holding back - that knack for telling it like it is. She loved sports, especially the Detroit Red Wings.

Maxine is survived by her ex-husband, Robert Miller; devoted Mom to 5 children, Don (Ann), John (Patty), Bob (Patti), David (Teresa) and Julie Ann; 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 2 nephews, and 1 great niece. Also surviving are two siblings, Norm Pianfetti and Nancy (Dominic) Giannosa. Maxine was predeceased by a son, Ron and grand-daughters, Crystal and Sarah.
