Mrs. Mary Fones, age 95 of Clinton Twp, passed away after a long battle of dementia.

She was born in the Village of Warren, Michigan (now known as Centerline) to the late Diacon and Theresa Ghiata, December 23, 1924. She was 1 of 5 children

Mary was united in marriage to Stanley E. Fones on February 27,1944. They were married for 60 years until he passed away in 2004.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara(Robert) Rivard of Kimball Township, Arthur(Jane) of Yale, son in law Jerry Ratiu of Sterling Heights, also 7 grandchildren,8 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Stanely, her siblings Viola,George, Iftenia(Nina) and Dan, her grandson Kevin and her daughter Sandra (Sandy)

Mary Fones was a homemaker who enjoyed making dolls,cooking,baking and caring for us all. She will always be missed and forever in our hearts.

Visiting hours are 12:00 - 5:00 p.m., with a 1:00 p.m. service, Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
