Mary Jean Erni, age 61 of Birmingham, passed away Monday evening at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.

She was born September 13, 1957 to John and Jean (Westrick) Lewandowski in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On July 18, 1986 Mary was united in marriage with Hans Erni at St. Thecla Catholic Church, Clinton Township.

Mary loved traveling, going to the beach, watching sports, and especially loved spending time with her family. She had such a big heart and was always there for her loved ones. She was employed as a travel agent at Royal International Travel in Southfield for over ten years.

Mary is survived by her husband, Hans; children, Kirstin and Sean; father, John Lewandowski; siblings, Paul (Gail) Lewandwoski, James (Marybeth) Lewandowski, Kaye (Stuart) Hooks; nieces and nephews, John, Mike, Beth, Megan. Mary was predeceased by her mother, Jean Lewandowski.

Visiting hours are 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. (7:00 p.m. Prayer service), Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. (in state 10:30 a.m.), Friday, December 28, 2018 at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 South Nunneley, Clinton Township.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions should be made to be used at the discretion of the family.
