Martha N. McPhedran, age 87 of Mount Clemens, passed away early Thursday morning at My Doctor's Inn, Sterling Heights.

She was born September 24, 1933 to Roland E. and Fern G. (Hacker) Nank in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On August 16, 1952 Martha was united in marriage with William F. McPhedran in Mount Clemens.

Mrs. McPhedran was a school teacher at Chippewa Valley Schools for thirty years until retirement. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Harrison Township and the Women's Circle at church. Martha volunteered for many years at Mount Clemens General Hospital.

Surviving are her children, Laura F. (William) Bolton and Scott W. (Karen) McPhedran; grandchildren, Jeffrey Bolton, Allison (Daniel Pizzimenti) McPhedran and Hannah (Philip) Byrd, and her best friend of 83 years, Faye Brown. Martha was predeceased by her husband, William on July 10, 1986, and siblings, William, Robert and Betty Nank.

Visiting will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens. Reverend James Mascow will officiate.

Martha will be interred at Christian Memorial Cemetery.
